There was a $5000 reserve on the lot. From the looks of the photos the hull is worth nothing as the cost of reparing be more than what the hull is worth, and that's before you find out if there is actually structual damage done.
God knows what state the motor is in but that's all you would be buying, a motor that doesn't run.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was bought as a write off from an insurance company

Fillet with sandbags and make a nice little reef somewhere

Dont bother. I think the other guys have it right - the hull would only be cosmetically repairable. With that sort of HP on a boat that size - I would be VERY worried about the structural soundness after an accident like that.
