Thanks Shane, I tend to fish the shallows on top of various yabbie banks, will report back if I had any luck

Well what a day, unfortunately could not find the whiting, fished the shallows from the green zone back up to toorbul, but could not find any whiting,
First cast was the 30cm bream which is dinner,
Caught approx 20 bream, kept to bream 28 and 30 cm for a feed, a heap of Stingrays. Also caught 2 grunter (Javelin Fish, Trumpeter) but could not remember if the size limit had changed with the new restricitons that came in March and just as well, both were 39, with a new size of 40cm, unless they were small spotted, all in all a fantastic day albeit without any whiting which I was looking for, next time.. Imaging how boring fishing would be if all you had to do was go and you caught what you wanted...
No Worries i am going out saturday for a fish hopefully they will play the game i tend to move with the tide upstream on the run in good going on the bream and the grunter would probably been the spotted 35 cm
but they are hard to tell

Sounds like a top day. D'you mind me asking what bait you used? I usually fish plastics but fancy putting in a few bait-only sessions just to make things simple again.

All on live yabbies It has been a while since I fished, my shoulder blades a sore from dragging those stingrays,,,
Garfish, sounds like a good day out even without scoring any whiting.
Might see you out there Saturday Shane. I am camping at Mission Point with some boys from work. Look out for the white Stessl tinny with ausfish.com.au on the sides.

All I want is to catch MORE legal fish!
