longtail info needed

Hi Guys

I am thinking of going down to Yamba to fish of the break wall for longtail tuna, I saw the fishing dvd and it looks like they were fishing down that way.

Does any one know what time of year is best for that area, as I have never fished for them of the rocks and any information would be greatly appreciated.

G'day Sulla,

I'm also thinking of heading south for a short stay and like to catch a longtail. Don't suppose you could be able to send me some vital info I may need as to best spot etc.

I will be land based, don't have a boat.
