    Fishing in Lake Macquarie

    Has anyone got any hot spots in Lake Macquarie? Wangi Wangi side of the lake?

    I fished Lake Macquarie a few times some years back. Most success I had was near the Swansea end of it after lauching at Nords Wharf.

    From Wangi Wangi the best bet'd probably be to head towards the hot water outlets from the coal mine areas such as Mannering Park (Vales Point).
    Good bream from those places...

    hi mate, hot water outlet.
    Watch out though if your in a little boat or yak, mate was there in the last week and had 6 sharks swimming around him.
