Oxley Creek
I've been working out at Tennyson lately and every time I cross Oxley Creek I look down at the pontoon and say one day I am doing to stop and have a flick. Today was the day and for half an hour between meetings I flicked SP's and HB's without getting a touch.
Maybe it's me, as I am no master of SP's and have never caught anything on HB's, but if anyone has ever caught anything from the pontoon in Oxley Creek where it meets the Brisbane River I'd love to hear about it.
Dave
PS. Water was very dirty so maybe I need to take the smelly stuff - but that might cause a problem when I return to work!

Re: Oxley Creek
Caught a varity of fish such as sting rays sharks catfish no threadies but that could explain a few hits i have had , yet to catch one of those buggers. It good spot to catch prawns for bait but over the years the rowers have grown not to appreciate people fishing off there, is it council owned or private?
Oh yes and as Tim mention late evening night has been the best producing times.
