Quintex Legend Esky trouble?

Hi All,

I bought my superceded (2007) 540 legend in Nov 2008

The shop had trouble removing my esky from the seat and broke a side handle

which they replaced when adding a lean bar to my seat.

Yesterday I washed my boat at a car wash and attempted to remove the esky to

drain it as you can't drain without removing.

I tried each handle of the esky and had to use force which uprooted the whole

seat ,esky and all!

Of course I am still under warranty right?

They say it will take a lot of work to secure seat.

Surely this is a warranty issue?

Called Telwater and they have a 3 year warranty on new boats so as I bought it

new, but obsolete, I still have a year to go.....

Anyone else had trouble with this esky issue please let me know.

Yeah Dave screws ripped out.

Took boat in and spoke to manager.

Decided to get them to rescrew seat in and shave/angle-grind the esky so it fits snug.

Only need esky for the seat so a minor adjustment will have to do so's i can drain it at days end.
