    Hey mate,

I haven't had anything to do with the 115's but we have a 140 on our 5.8m sportfish and i couldn't ask for anything more. Its great on fuel and has more than enough power to get out boat (nearly 1.5t) up onto the plane and running at 55km/h at 5500rpm doing approximately 1.6km/L... we've done 140hrs on it in less than 12 months and it hasn't missed a beat the whole time..

    Re: suzuki 115

Had the rebadged Johnson version - a 2006 model 70hp on a Quintrex 480 FreedomSport. Bloody excellent motor. Very quiet, runs on the whiff of an oily rag, and no reliability issues at all.

In terms of economy, a run of 1 hour to the reef out from Lucinda and back, at full throttle with 4 adults and 2 kids on board, with some trolling done on top of that burnt a grand total of 42 litres for the day. A pretty cheap day out really when you measure that against a full esky of red reefies.

    Cheers

My dad has one on his 4.8(? - i think its a 4.8) Fisher - great motor, quiet as a mouse (well, almost). Not sure of the economy figures tho. He's very happy with it.

    Re: suzuki 115

My boat is 620kg dry weight hull only then add atleast 150kg for 150 litres of fuel about 100-150kg for gear and accesories then usual 3 people ob about 260kg average all up total body weight. Hope this helps

    Hey,

I had one on my 5.3 Polycraft, and completed 750 hours before selling it.

Awesome motor, never had one problem, used no fuel, and was awesome to operate.

The polycraft alone would have weighed about 1000kg.

    Regards

I have one on a 550 centre cab aswell. Fishing 4 up with gear no problems. Use the boat to tow tubes and wake boards. Pulls 4 on tubes with no issues. It is still running the standard alloy prop. Great motor

    Hi
My brother has one on his 5.5 cc formosa and has great fuel economy. Trip to banks average 124 kilometres and used 54 litres of fuel from memory.
We have a 90 suzuki 2009 model on our 5.2 formosa and fuel economy excellent.Runs like a dream.
