    Logan River -Whiting/Mud crab

    Hi,

My mate and I were thinking of doing a trip to the Logan River towards the end of next week, and I was curious if anyone has caught any whiting/mud crab there lately.?

    Cheers and thanks.

    Hello Scott,

How are things going? I've heard from one of the local pros that muddies should be around but some may be a bit hollow. He never said where they are of cause.

    Hi Peter,

I'm well perhaps we could organise a trip when you get your car issues sorted out. I did thew maiden voyage in my new rig last week .Motor has about 90 minutes run time now. Few small things needed attention, but almost fixed now. Ordered some padded cushions to make seats more comfortable yesterday.

Hopefully their will be a few muddies within the logan, the rain has probably done the river well. Will be using mullet frames for bait, as I have plenty in my freezer.

    Hopefully chat soon.

    Hello Scott,

I done a test run on the car yesterday to Pimpama, no oil leaks evident but still have a slight water seepage between block and head. I'll use liquid glass and see if this will correct it.

Good to hear you managed to get out and run the new boat. Would be good to get some muddies, I have about 4 salmon heads, they should be good...all frozen

    Catch up with you soon.

    Peter
