I'm chasing some info on the virtues of the etecs in a 40 in a 2007 model, good and bad points ,are they a good motor. Fellas I don't want to start another debate on etecs V's the rest or 2 or 4 stroke just some info on them,thanks
Mate I think if you check out the etecownersgroup.com you should find plenty of info on there about the motor. I have a 12/07 60hp and have never had an issue with mine. I know lots like them and lots don't but it comes down to personal preference. Happy hunting.
