Hey guys,
Thought I'd show off some of the pics of my new Fisher currently under construction. She will be a centre console, with full cockpit length hardtop and 175 Suzuki on the back. Should be ready in about 3 weeks hopefully.

Nice one! Looks the business.
I'd go for a 200hp suzy, i ve got a 580 dual series small centre consol with a 175 on the back of it. If you are going to use it in open ocean go a 200, a mate of mine has one on a blue water 7.6m does not rev as hard. 4 blades are the way to go.
looks the goods, going to one sweet boat

Good to see Fisher products again
I had a 600 Maxi walk around cuddy with a 175 suzi as a work boat.
Could get nearly 1nm/ltr around 4500rpm for 24 knots.... & 6100rpm 38 knots WOT. The extra weight of a 200 would negate any extra performance I believe. You'll be happy...for sure.
Hook the Suzi up to Lowrance GPS and you'll know the sweet spot for fuel use
Post some pics of the finished product please.
Going to be one awesome rig mate, nice.

Looks awesome - keep the photos coming.
Hey guys,
Latest pics. She's ready for paint.

I always wonder why poeple assume that a larger motor will improve a boat and again why would you need a larger motor for the open ocean it doesn't make sense, surely your average speed on the open ocean will be alot less than in more protected waters? Unless that old furphy about hull shot and bars is going to be dusted off againI personally think that Seahound is spot on about the weight , an extra 50kg+ sitting at exactally the wrong spot on a boat will effect it overall performance!
The 175 would seem perfect to me!![]()

Ps. I would love to know how youe 600 maxi differs from the old ones? Apparently there better but why? I dont expect old Fisher_too will answer this afetr all i've only asked this question about 10 times
Alcohol doesn't agree with me, but i sure do enjoy the argument!!!
Im with you finding time. Biggest motor is best but depends on weight. Seen boats that burn way too much fuel just dragging their own arses around the ocean.
I tend to do long distance trips with loads of gear and fuel on board so more power the better.
Very nice setup devendiva, looks like you've put a lot of thought into your custom options and layout. very practical mate and awasom looking workmanship.
Look forward to seeing the finished result and the blooding of the boat.
Cheers

Hey guys.
Latest pics. Finally out of the painters. They took longer than it took to do all the hot work. Almost there now though, maybe a week and a half to go till I get my hands on it.
