    PB Snapper in Bay 3/9/09

Went out to Mud Island last night with brother-in-law looking to see what was around. Within the first 10 mins my baitrunner started screaming but broke off when i tried to put the brakes on. About half-hour later the bro pulled in a 43cm squire. Good start we thought. Then everything seems to shut down, so we moved to our next point. First line out and the baitrunner was screaming again. This time I managed to get a 65cm snapper on board weighing 3.3kg. A PB for me...woohooo.. After that just pulling in undersize rest of night.
Anyway pics of snapper below. Didn't get a pic of the bro's fish.....Matt

That is a tasty looking fish mate.
Using the BTR I guess you were using bait.
    What was it?
    Cheers and thanks.

It's a good sign there are quality fish around, being smashed a few times as you described. Could you tell if they were snapper by the headshakes? That's a good quality fish, well done!
