people usally keep them marks to themselves.....you might be lucky. You could try pming Verts he might know where they get them down that way.
going to head out sat morning for a fish and am just wondering if anyone has a mark for spanner crabs down the goldie they wouldnt mind sharing with em...pm me if you want

Looks like you might have lost my message last year.
I ordered 3 spannnercrab traps from Crab-n'gear at Clontarf some time ago and the email I got back said they had no steel supplies in the country and was awaiting shipment from overseas.
I don't have a boat but would have liked to have gone out and place a few traps with anyone who was doing the same.
All I know that 6 years ago (last time I was out) somwehere off South Straddie there is a a few places but you have to pick a line (trial and error) to see what depth they are in...spanner crabs tend to move around abit.
