Simple about 1cup depending in how much you want of self raising flour dont add so much sugar its not needed your only going to smuther it with syrup i presume1 egg , if 2 cups 2 eggs easy add about a tsp of vanilla essence and away you go i do add about a tblsp of sugar. Add milk to desired thickness.

Hi Phill
This is the easiest oldest recipe i have
1 cup self raising flour
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
Mix it all together adding milk abit at a time. Leave in fridge for 1/2 hour or so if you have the time. Otherwise just pour into buttered pan.
Plenty of homemade plum jam and cream cause i don't like honey.
LOL
