Early season Sandies

Hi all,

I am hoping to put my new boat in the water on thursday (weather dependant), and although I've heard/read some reports of muddies around, I was wondering if anyone has caught and sandies yet or is it still too early.?

I will be launching from Redland Bay.

My boat is 425 Allycraft "Reel Mate" with 30 4 stroke Yam.

G'day Scott,

How have you been? My car is still off the road due to blown headgasket, I'm in the process of reinstalling the head, will test the engine sometime late tomorrow.

I heard that sandies might be a bit early and some muddies getting around in deeper water.

mate havnt herd of any been caught but always worth a go,a few muddies though in the deeper water,would pob try around the back of couchie on the drop off for sandies
