    Furuno LS 6000 help

    Hi guys/gals,
    Just bought a new (secondhand) Furuno LS 6000. Went out this morning... all looked good. Turned for home and the screen went so dark that I can hardly read the display. 5 hours later at home, I turn it on.... still like it. Anyone have any ideas??????
    PS: I switched it to Demo mode and it still does it.

    Just a guess but look in the manual for the procedure for contrast/brightness adjustment, it's at the 'on' button but forget off hand, could be you hold it on longer to access that mode or press it again after start up...whatever it is easy to get into with the unit at hand.

    I was adjusting the brightness and it wasn't doing anything. Just found the 'tone' button.... that seemed to do the job.
    Sorry for that trivial question... i will have to come up with something more challenging
