My 8120 navman has had a dodgy track record over the almost 2 years I have had it..
it has failed once before (white screen) in very rough weather and returned to to Navman which replaced the unit within 2 weeks free of charge.
Last weekend it failed again same problem.
Monday I was to busy to deal with it so Tuesday I call them up and organise the return. They say this time they have worked out the cause and have a good fix for the problem
sent of express tuesday afternoon.
no word from navman
until today (friday) a big box was waiting on my desk
this time they didnt replace new for old they repaired the problem this time they say for good and gave it a software upgrade...
is that a world record for navman support?
