heading up that eay for first ever fish. any basic marks to break virginity on a trout or red would be much helpful. going in 6.5 quinnie so a few miles travelled won't bother us for a feed. Thanks...

Try out around Musgrave or further north, don't waste time in close. Specific marks are great but really there is some fantastic lumps and bumps out there It's easy to find your own. It's more about just being in the right area. Be prepared to go 50 to 80 ks

We were going on Tuesday but by the look of the wind coming up we may be postponing a few days for a better window. Send me a pm with your mobile and I'll call you when we know exactly which day we will be there.

Speak to Tony at Agnes bait and Tackle. He will give you the bait grounds and some general areas to fish... The wreck NE of Agnes fished well sometimes and very well for nanagai at night. Odd snapper at this time of year too. pulled up a 6.5 pinky during the hookup in June on our first drift.

Agnes M&G starts 12th. Good to hang around for that if you can. Some bloody good fishermen get up for that...Some ordinary ones too I might add.
I CAME INTO THIS WORLD KICKING, SCREAMING AND COVERED IN SOMEONE ELSES BLOOD. I HAVE NO PROBLEM GOING OUT THE SAME WAY.
