    ok just got my self a waeco cf-80, unpacked it, read the instruction (very sketchy) pluged her in , yep powers on...set temp to 0c deg, temp in side
    the unit is 20 deg but nothing seems to be running, no noise from unit, temp aint droping..... nothing!!!

    have i missed something?????

    What do you have it plugged into?

    The need good quality wiring or good 12V DC transformer.

    at the moment its pluged into 240.....

    There would seem to be a problem then.

    Waeco fridges are sensitive to 12v power supply. They often have problems with being plugged into standard vehicle cigarette lighter sockets.

    There should be no problem when plugged into 240.

    Give Waeco a call.

    I have had two Waeco's, mine have been/are great.

    Waeco's head office is just down the road from work so i might drop in and see what they say...

    Took it back to the big snake this morning and had it replaced, b4 i left we pluged it in and this one works well. Had it back home for an hour and it down to -5 already.

    dont leave them out in the sun while out and about or the lid will warp.

    Have two waeco currently, three over the years and very happy with them.
    Good product would not hesitate to buy another one.
