Anyone painting a tinny in Townsville soon ?

This is not really a for sale post, as I don't have anything to sell yet. So I parked it in the boating section.

I'm repainting the gunnels on my tinny, the original paint is a 2 pack polyurethane (Wattyl - Poly U400 Industrial/Marine) in the colour N14 (Brilliant white). It's the standard Stessl colour & maybe a few others.

Anyway, I really only need a litre - if that, but it's only sold in a 4 litre kit, for near $200. I don't feel like paying that much, so If someone wants 3 or so litres at a good price let me know soon, if not I'll probably just do it in an enamel of the same colour.

Has to be Townsville or close by, as it wouldn't be worth the stuffing around posting it etc.

Try more of an automotive paint shop, or any other than the one you've gone to, I have been getting 2 pac in a litre kits with no prob, white is going to be white, and if it's just the gunnels and you mask it off, no one will be able to tell the diff

International Paints has a 1 litre of 2Pack in white. Not sure how close it is to your white, but worth a look & it can be applied with a brush..It's pretty good stuff.
even instructions on the site on how to apply it.

There's a couple of places in Townsville that carry it..
