I am taking my son and his mate into the Bay this Sunday...now as I have never caught a snapper I thought i should warn everyone else. These critters will probably vacate the Bay completely once I arrive there.

Maybe the snapper are scared being near the boat of a GOM.....
I have caught hundreds of snapper in the bay... The problem is they are all about 20cm big and they seem to want to call them squire instead
Greg, this is a gesture of the most generous selfless nature to your fellow fishos.
Despite being a GOM you are also very humble, you forgot to mention that Moreton Bays grinner and catfish population follow you around, away from the baits of other fishos.

We even had a GOM M&G a couple of years back on the cruiser.
