    Hi Mate,
Drop into "Pat's Tackle World" in Gladstone, the boys down there will give you all the infomation you need plus they may part with a few spots to get you started. Also Pat's have a good range of paper back infomation.

Also let me know if you would like some more info as I live and fish here also, thats if you are talking about Gladstone Central Queensland.

    Cheers

    Laurie

Unless theres another gladstone with a Benaraby near it I guess he is
The closest ramp to benaraby is right near the road bridge on the downstream side which puts you straight intop the boyne river. Theres a ramp at Boyne Island near Bray park and also at tannum near the caravan parkwhich lets you into wild cattle creek. On the way into Gladstone theres a ramp about half way to gladstone and benaraby which will give you access to South trees inlet and in gladstone thgeres a ramp near the yacht club/air sea rescue which gives access to auckland ck and the harbour and also a ramp near the power station which gives access to the caliope river.
at Mt larcom north of gladstone there is a road that goes to the Narrows. this gives access to the strip of water between curtis island and the mainland . This strech of sheltered water extends from gladstone to port alma which is the fitzroy river mouth.
there is also a ramp at awoonga dam if you are into big impoundment barra.
Theres a few other dirt ramps around which give access to the sheltered estuary systems.
As far as maps are concerned cant help you otherr than just look around any structure . The mouth of south trees inlet is pretty popular because there is a few cooling water pumps there that run 24/7 and its virtually like having a permanent berley machine and the bridge over the inlet has a lot of pylons that offer good structure.
    good hunting
