Left Manly at 5.10am and headed out to the bar. Due to a mix-up, waited at the Red Beacons at the Rous for a mate for 1/2 hour a no show and then went thru the Bar and headed out. Conditions were good with a sw at about 7-8 knots and current from south to north quite workable. First drop, three good size snaps on board and happy days. Then the fish shut down. Worked hard all day for the remaining 13 squires with the conditions glassing out. Left for the ramp at 1.45pm. Top day though but little fish. The whales put on a show on the way in.
