Pine River Morning....

Headed to the pine river for a fish this morning with a newly converted mate (converted to plastics that is :p) Got to the ramp around 6 ish and headed off to the usual drift spots, abit quiet so move to another spot get a few wacks and my mate lands a few nice flathead. I'm still Zip.

We continue on our methodes a few more flatties on board I get a few small whiting. Head back to another spot drift and another few flathead. Most around the 35-40 cm mark. I get a nice hit and wishing for a big flattie I got myself a nice bream @ 27cm. A couple of pike @ the bridge, plenty of toads a few hits but no hook ups.

Caught up with Nico.D down the other end of the river, got a blade and some jiheads can't wait to give them a crack, thanks Nico much appreciated they look the goods . All in all a nice way to spend the morning with a mate on the water. Weather was a cracker.

We didnt end up getting anything else after you left , and didnt catch what ever it was that swallowed my blade , the out laws enjoyed the 58cm flathead we got earlyer . It was a nice morning almost felt like summer .
