    HRF or Curado 200e5

Hi All i have a mexican fire 5-10 kg rod and a penn pinpoint tourament 5-10 for the barra i have a Diawa HRF that i like and casts well and does not overun but i now have the opertunity to buy another reel for the other rod i like the HRF but have not caught a fish on it but not from lack of trying but it should handle the barra i have used the curado reels a lot in darwin on charters and can not fault them ,i can get the curado for $349cash or the HRF f for $249cash the HRF is also good to use in the salt as well as the fresh and i would think the curado would be the same i know the curado would be the better quality reel what are your thoughts I only get to chase barra once a month or so in summer

    G'day Shane

I cant comment on the HRF but I have the Curado 200 e5 which I absolutly love. Im sure you wouldnt be dissapointed with it. Good luck, its always a tough choice deciding between two nice reels.

I have the Curado e5 on a Barra Raider 621 and just love it. Have been toying with getting another baitcaster and considering Daiwa Heartland or Saltist HRF but just cannot get past the Curado. Might look at the e7 though for a bit of a burner. Tackle Warehouse's new online shop has some pretty keen prices on all these reels as does ######## on most.
