    Snapper Rigs

Hi, I am starting to get my rods and reels out of the shed and dust them down and get them ready for the snapper season which is quickly approching. I have only ever caught 2 snapper and I got them last year in Port Phillip Bay. I will be going back to Port Phillip Bay during the september and christmas holidays to hopefully get some more. I only used one type of rig and 3 different types of bait, this time I am going to try and use some different types of rigs to see what they like at the time.
My brother and parents come out with me so I will be using 6 -8 rods and 6 will have shimano baitrunners on them.
So can anyone reccomend some different styles of rigs I can try and use and a link to one would be great. Also I think I will be using pillies, silver whiting, garfish and red rockets for bait. How do the snapper eat the bait, is it head first or doesnt it matter, I need to learn to rig the baits properly to.
    Anyhelp is awesome.
    Thanks Brock

Simple running ball sinker of sufficiently small size to allow your bait to float down the burley trail. One metre of heavier trace, running ball sinker, circle hook of appropriate size, or a couple of 5/0 Mustad penetrators or similar hooks snelled together for pilchard baits.
    Cheers.
