Hi all, very new to this site have just moved up from Sydney, just wondering if anyone has fished main beach on straddie of late, I will be chasing tailor mainly, I am looking to spend the night camped up the beach and was just wonering if the tailor were on, ( from all the reports I habe read it has been a very on and off again season I used to come up for the classic when it was on but have not fished over there since 2003. Look forward to any feedback.

I was camped over on Main Beach from 31 july to 5 august.
Tailor were very patchy. Now you see them , now you dont.
Got some on friday and monday and a mate stayed until the 10th and got more on Thursday and friday . But at other times you couldnt lose a pilly.
We were camped at 13 with perfect water in front but they didnt want to play all the time.
BUT...Did get a lot of bream down at the Pin and there are plenty of Flatties about.
