As i now have the photos worked out on the new camera i will give a late fraser report.
Poppsy, sprocko, brian from anglers advantage and myself fished the week before the comp and the comp week.
The better fishing was in the first week and we mainly fished south gardiners, cathedrals one day and wide sth gardiners another day.
we managed some good fish including, red emperor,14lb spangled emperor 2 days before the comp, parrot, red throats, hussar, coronation trout, cod, rosy jobfish, green jobfish and snapper.
We managed 2nd prize overall with brians parrot at 3.7kg and my green jobfish at 8.3kg biggest on thursday of the comp.
launching for the 27foot cat was made easy with a big drawbar extension, at times we could only manage a 6 hour window to get in and out of the gutter due to the tide and lack of water for the big girl.
Overall a great fishing trip and a few fillets to go with it.
cheers mark

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges
Up here we Use Hussar as baits for real RED FISHS (SHSIIFDER)
Good to see you get into them. You deserve a prize for getting that cat up there and dealing with it in and out of the water. In saying that, what a way to fish Fraser in style in a boat like like as it would be a joy to ride in. Have you ever been right up north in it?
Tony
Good trip there mate. How are the ex-Wadeo 200's treating you?? Youv repodded her too I see.
Cheers, Deano.
Some nice fish there, heading up there on the 29th first time launching off beach up there any tips for gutters etc.
Bring on Fraser!!!
Hey Mark its been a while since i've seen a report from you but looks like you had a great trip. Hows the boat after to mods, would imagine its a whole different boat.
Cheers Gaven
hello dean yeh the boat goes well about 86km/h.
gday gavin yes i did a bit of work at the rear and are heading to d/i shortly how have u been going.
hello tony no i havent been up north but would like to get up that way as the trailer is set up right now.
hello crabba all i can suggest with waddy point is launch where the pros launch and come and go the same time they do. as with any boat if the wave is breaking accelerate at a steady pace put your bow direct to wave and let the boat ride through the wave if the swell is too big do not cross any bar cheers mark.ps draw bar extension is a must.
