    Smile Snapper Rigs??

    Hi guys just wondering what the typical snapper rig is for places like the curtin etc. What bait, sinkers etc. Thanks i advance for any replies.

    Pea sinker and a Penetrator 5/0 inside a piece of pilly or Tuna drifted down on a tide change. They are pretty well educated in that area

    I agree with Horse......the snapper at curtain and the likes have seen sooooo many baits over the years that they have started to wise up to what is going on.
    Subsequently, the fish are harder to catch!!

    As horse said, small sinker, so that they cannot feel the weight of the sinker, and then a single hook or even a small stinger rig with a pillie or flesh, floated down with the berley.

    Your bait has to be as unweighted as possible!! I have found that once the fish feel the weight of the sinker, they drop the bait.

    Give this s try.
