Pic look like a lot of old farts that know there shit... i would fitt in that senreo perfect how do i get there?
Hi Bobby,
I do have a lot of people that are lined up to go out. Young Rob ( Smithy) has a great Charter that will do everything that I can do –Only better.. Otherwise I will take you out in turn. Just send me an IM

beaut jew only the one? How deep you hit just off the cape? Was there much bait?
Hi Justin,

Just one lonely Jewie caught at about 12 O’Clock right at the top of Hutchies in 10 Meters of water on a Gulp Pink Shine 7” Ther was quite a bit of bait. We heard some reports of Spaniards at Hutchies and we did get bitten off very cleanly a couple of times but they could have been Leather Jackets or even the old Green Sea Toad.

Hi JT,

I would love to try them out on one of your XOS Spaniards. I might need you to show me where to find the Reds though.

Hi Rod,

Happy to help you anyway I can mate. Just tell me what you need.

After pulling like hell on those Kingies, you would have nearly pulled those Snapper in backwards.
Did you use Erics new wind on's?
Hi Tim,

I left all the Cobia for you. Did you notice my new “Split Grip” I actually thought the Snapper were just another YTK and just skull dragged them in. The Jewie was different. There were a few anxious moments for a while. No wind-ons mate although Eric did upgrade from 30lbs to 60 lbs at one stage. I love watching him in action.

Sooo when ya takin me again lol
Hi Tassie,

Hi JT,

I love the Egrell rods and I am lucky that Eric has taken the time to teach us some of his knowledge but each rod costs me over $400.00.

If you want to test one, you have a couple of options. Buy one just like me or you may have to show me some of the sights around the Capricorn Coast.

should ask him if he can provide more than six months warranty on his rods mine exploded on a good fish at 1770 1 month out of warranty but other than that they are great rods

hi Rod,

Happy to help you anyway I can mate. Just tell me what you need.

Thanks alot Frank I really appreciate that! Have just been reading as much as I can on here from the guys and getting out and practising and learning so
all the info that you put on here helps. I guess I just gotta stick at it and keep learning... maybe one sunday if your heading out , I can get away from work and you dont mind me tagging along in the haines you could show me the way around hutchies and the cape as being a newbie havent been too keen to venture that far on my own just yet.

If you or any of the boys need any ice Frank, whether it be party, block or dry ice(48 hrs notice required) let me know and i'll look after you where I can.

Thanks again mate!

Really appreciate you allowing us to follow you yesterday. Great photos as well. My arms are still sore today. Need more practice I think.

Re: A DAy Out With The Boys

Your photos turned out much better than mine Frank, you will have to show me how to get the horizon straight again

You also had a lot more subject matter to choose from, I will have to work on that part of the bargain too, well done to all your crew!

Hi Nautical Prince,

I don't mind talking to Eric about that. I know that he offers a new for old replacement without question and without a replacement deposit. That may be why they are limited to six months. I would think that if you haven't broken it in the first six months you wouldn't break it at all.

I break mine if I crush it in the car door, snap it on the roof of a charter boat or let my wife Sheila wrap the line around the tip when she catches AJs. Other than that they seem to be great.

Just one hint. All carbon fibre rods do fracture if you drop them or lean them on the side of the boat as you bash your way out to your fishing spot. I lean mine on the soft padded sides of the boat.

If you would like me to take your claim to Eric, please PM me with the facts about the breakage. Who knows what might happen.
