    Re: fisher ladies

    Bill,
You are probably a decent bloke (being a fisherman and all) so here's some advice. Take it or leave.
Having a woman in your life might seem desirable but so would having 30 foot cruiser. There are some parrarel's in that comparison.
1)Both are expensive to run and maintain. There are always hidden cost's that you don't budget for.
2)You never spend as much time in them as you thought you would.
3)If you get a nice one all your mates will do their best to get aboard as well.
4)When they get old and soft in the transom, they're hard to get rid of
5)Both will be great on good days and play up when you least expect it...

No doubt there are more but you get the drift...I suppose my advice would be to keep an eye out for the ideal boat for sure, but for now, enjoy being young and boat free.. and maybe shout yourself out on good quality charter every once in while. All you have to do is turn up with your rod, they're proffessionals so know where you want to go,you have your fun and someone else will clean up after you. And then start saving for the next charter.......

    Cheers.....Terry.......

having a wife and also having had a 30' cruiser your analogy is on the money..BUT...you can tie the cruiser to the dock and walk off and it does not ask.."Where are you going and when will you be back"
