    Seetings for CTEK Multi XS7000?

    Hi Team.

Got my CTEK Multi XS7000 a few weeks ago and have put it on my brand new battery I also got 2 weeks ago and have not taken it off the battery yet - trickle charge.

I have read the limited instructions but cannot make sense of them at all...

Can someone please advise what setting i should be setting on my battery for trickle charge?

I have 4 modes ('Normal', 'Supply', 'Recond' and '*') and have put it on 'Supply' as a guess.

    I have a Ca-impregnated Seamaster battery.

    Thank you people.

    Should be on Normal.

Supply is for using it as a power sourse for 12 volt equipment.

Normal goes to maintainence mode at the end of the charging cycle.

    Cheers Mick.

    Damn.

    Thanks boys.

I am now very concerned that I may not have trickled charge my battery for last month or so...

I had the charger on "Supply" all this time...

What impacts would this now have on my battery?

Would I have pumped any charge into battery at all over last month?

    Setting : Supply 13.6 V
MULTI US 7000 has a Supply mode setting which has a constant voltage at 13.6 V and
current up to 7 A. It could be used for maintenance charge using the Float approach. This
approach keeps the battery at 100 % State of Charge, but the constant small overcharge
also increases water loss. Note that there is no need for a battery to be connected at this

    mode.
Note: The Spark protection system and the indication of Reverse Polarity is
suppressed in this mode. The Short Circuit protection is still working.
It is not advisable to charge a discharged battery in Supply mode as this will not provide a
complete charge. In this mode, MULTI US 7000 can also be used as a power-generation
unit for operating equipment that requires 13.6 V and a maximum of 7 A. If the selected
current exceeds 7 A, the output voltage will drop at an increasing rate. The charger has
electronic overload protection in this mode, which is activated if the charge is so great that
the output voltage from the charger falls below around 3.5 V and the current to around
7 A. In the event of an overload, the charger transfers to error mode (lamp 0).

Setting lamp D indication lamp 5.

I would check the water level first. But by what i can make out it should be ok.

    Cheers Mick.

If it indeed outputs 13.6v on the supply setting then your batteries will be fine. A float charge is typically 13.8V

The best tool to check water level is your eyes! Good batteries will have a mark on the case showing how much you should fill them. The acid must be above the plates, depending on the batterey around 5-10mm is a good start.
