help- movie files with a lumix

I don't know if we have anyone here can help me but here goes....

I bought a lumix ft1 a few weeks back and I've taken some footage on it using the motion picture function. It works fine for playback on the camera, on the software they provided and via the sd card, but it doesn't save to one single file, it seems to be a myriad of files in the folder. Is there a way I can save it as one single file? It just seems really inconvenient having movies saved that way, especially for file sharing. Any advice, tips, knowledge will be apprciated.

You probably need to export it from the software they provide.

Not familiar with the software but I assume you will need to open the file and maybe even import it into the program. Then you can usually edit it and then either save it or export it. It should then export as several forms, depending what you want to do with it.

Cheers Steve. The software is arcsoft, it comes with the camera. I'll try opening it from my old fuji software and see how it goes...
