I have had my share of problems with MK trolling motors over the years & want to try a MG this time around on the new boat.
I will be running the Lowrance HDS units on the new rig - with a HDS 5 on the bow - connected to the MG. I have always used an external transducer on the MK - running the transducer leads up the shaft with cable ties etc. I see I can now get a MG wireless with built-in transducer ( 74lb 24volt ) .
I would appreciate any feedback on these motors with & with-out the built in transducer - And will it be suitable for the new HDS units ?
