live herring, don't use any lead, fish near nags and mangrove overhangs in the creeks and be quiet as possible.

Large solder crabs should not be overlooked either for cod in the rivers creeks and the passage. Fish them with the current and wash them into the snag, Cod can't resist them.

We have caught cod at donny over the years the best going 18kg (released)
Livies for sure mullet, pike being the best
Dont be afraid to hook up a mullet at even the min size 30cm (legally) lol
We use a 2hook snood rib an minimal lead if any running straight onto the hooks via, say 50cm trace of around 40-60pd
Good luck bud an Lime pocket aint a bad choice either being around the 15-20ft range of depth an quite a prominent ledge running not far off the bank for its entirety,

Go out at low tide with some kitchen tongs, turn over rocks and catch the black crabs, cod love em.
