    Hey James,
There are quite a few places to fish out and around Shag and Boat rock. Just use your sounder and look for good ground with fish holding.

The Bar is best 2 hours either side of high tide and with seas under 1.5metres. Look for a gap where the waves aren't breaking and cross with caution. Even follow another boat out through if you are not 100% sure. It looks pretty good for Wednesday so I'd say there with be a few boats heading out....including myself.

Don't forget to don the life jackets and log on with the VMR before you leave port.

    Good luck.

    Dave

    Hey James,
The amity channel seems more predictable and hasnt changed too much either if you havnt crossed for a while. I think we could probably drift out on Wed lookin at the forecast.

Mate, I've been catching a mixed bag out there lately. Snaps, tuna, wahoo, Dolphin fish and pearlies out wider. There's always something around out there. Look for the bait balls and drop some livies down on em.

Croosed the bar through the Amity Channel on Sunday at dead low tide. No problems. With the weather prediction for wednesday it will only be better. If you head out past Amity and go round to the right you will see the channel. It is holding up pretty well. Good luck.
