    Fish id Please

Do you know what these little fish were. They jumped on my bait jig and I could not seem to sell them to any fishy takers.

Sorry for the frothy photo. They were about 100-120mm long.

    Cheers

Under a balloon in the open ocean.....any tuna should take them. Would probably interest a cobe or a LT at western rocks using the same method.

They are certainly one of the bullseye family. Not the usual red bullseye I am used to. I am getting a lot of a silver ones that are half a cross with a butter bream down off Caloundra at the moment on the bait jigs.

Thanks for that . My bullseye seemed to be a darker brown to silver on the sides.

I spotted you heading out past Raper shoal on Sunday afternoon. Could not miss the boat travelling at a very good speed in the conditions. Did you catch much

Got a few on softies. Jeffo bagged out and dropped two crackers beside me solo in his boat.
