    Nup your spot on Chris! The sooner you repressurize the swim bladder the better! Even divers who come to the surface to quickly provided they avoid embolism have a few minutes grace before the blood in the lungs starts to fizzle like a shook up can of coke to get back down to depth!

    I to just dont believe that sticking a needle into a swim bladder can do the fish any long term good!
    Alcohol doesn't agree with me, but i sure do enjoy the argument!!!

    When my ears pop on ascending in an aircraft, I've never had a hostie offer to stab me in the head to stop the discomfort.

    Always best just to equalise.
