    Question Pumicestone Passage regulars

    Gday Ausfishers
About this time last year I was trying to fish for lizards around Donnybrook but the banks were covered with a huge outbreak of a pussy, slimy, beer coloured weed that clung to anything that touched the bottom. I was hoping if anyone that fishes the passage regularly could tell me if it's back there at the moment?
Or how often and when it does turn up?
    Cheers
    Mike

I was up Donnybrook way on wednesday last week and had no problems as you say. Just the normal amount of floating weed which did not interfere with bottom fishing too much.

        Cheers

Was up Bells creek way on the weekend. There was weed but i dont think its the weed your talking about. This stuff was long and floated.

Still hard to work lures through.

Seems to be plenty of smaller flatties up that way too.

Thanks Guys, last winter it was like a carpet of puss covering everything shallower than 3 foot. As soon as your lure touched the bottom it was clogged.
