Hi All
Have fitted my H'bird 777c2 to my 4.3 mt boat.
Works great at slower speeds but when I get it up fast on the plane I seem to lose signal and dont get anything clear until I slow again.
It was the same when I had it on my smaller boat.
I have it about 30cms away from the centre of the rear of the boat.
Does it need to be set deeper, or closer down to the centre of the boat which of course makes it deeper as well?
Any advice would be helpful

I have a 700drtries hummingbird side imaging and mine is a bit deep as i get a rooster and i can read it at 40 klms a hour
need to be deeper or the angle of it, is reading nothing while ur on the plane
Humility is not a weather condition.
Can you put up a photo from the rear and from the side.
My guess would be deeper and a little angle forwards but if you have it behind a strake on the bottom of the boat then that will make it poor at any speed except stopped.

Flatzie, there's a yahoo site set up for Humminbird side imaging users. There's a lot of photos of transducer mounting which may be helpfull.
