current at Ballina???

Evans Head where I normally fish is hosting the Classic this week. I hate fishing there at this time, so I am off to Ballina tomorrow. I''m very unaccustomed to it and was wondering if anybody knows how the current is on the 32's?? I only have a couple of marks - so its going to be a bit of a lotttery.

Bugger all current on sunday for most of the day and it is draining to the north which is not typical but has not done the fishing any harm.

Alas the pacific Piranas are about so a healthy length of wire is handy to have but if you move about you can avoid them, we did not get any but others got smashed by them.

Good luck with the contest and make sure of your sizes and limits, the fisheries guy is a mirthless bastard around here or at least one of them is.
