Lowrance sounder upgrade

I have a Quintrex 490 with a lowrance X52 thinking about upgrading to a HDS-5. Would the X52 transducer that came standard with the boat be compatible?

Is the HDS-5 the combo unit versus the 5m/5x?

Let google be your friend, Looks like the transducer you have is a single frequency, you will need to check with Navico australia to determine if it will have the right connections to support the sounder, you would probly be best of upgrading to match the quality of the unit you are buying.
