Cost of a day charter out of Cairns?

Hi guys,

I've try to look up information on fishing for juvenile black marlin. All of the websites I've encountered do not provide a price for the day or live aboard charter. I was wondering if any of you have charter before and can tell me what kind of price range I should expect.

I would really like to catch a juvenile black marlin...but it all depends on the price. If it breaks the bank, I would just have to wait until I win the lottery

I am guessing $1,200 a day for a boat up there.

In order of preferance I would be getting onto Moana III, New Moon, Pirate, Wild Turkey, Moana II, Reel Ripe, Top Shot, etc.

Bill is in contention if he is on his meds and chasing heavy tackle fish but the question was about juvenile fish and it that case, Dan is the man from Moana III from what I saw last year.
