Hey there guys, my name is Sheridan and I just joined up to this site today.
We have recently bought a 2002 Mitsubishi Challenger and are itching to get out and about in it.
Have read a couple of reports that these cars are not that great off road, but wondering if anyone knows their limits? We're not about to take it up the side of Uluru, but this is probably good to know
Also, if anyone has any tracks they know of close to Windsor, NSW that would also be be very welcome!

Mate, I have a Challenger and I am very happy with it's off-road abilities. I have been everywhere I need to go without a drama. It's towing capability is good enough for my 5.3m glass 1/2 cab all loaded up to fish for the day.Originally Posted by micr0bat

No doubt the Landcruiser/Patrol mob will chip in the old tired lines about the superiority of their vehicles. Obviously a Landcruiser costing at least twice as much is going to be a bit more capable than your Challenger but if you apply good driving technique and common sense I doubt you will be prevented from going anywhere the big boys go.

Yeah dont worry about that stuff just get out there and give it heaps you will have a ball!.
If the breakages, bent bits get expensive or hard to keep up with trade it in for a Patrol...this very same advice is usually given to Tojo owners

took mine up the beach few times.
not to bad. bit underpowered and love the juice.
i just upgraded to the new triton glxr.
hopefully pick it up this week.
