    Mate they are everywhere???

They look like a decent rip-off of the nitro's...i am thinking of buying one.

must be me but i am not a big fan of the new tcurves, old ones were great, in a one piece.

my pic in that range would be a new raider and then you'd have alot of change (yes i rate them higher than a tcuvre and i know im gonna cop alot for this but i dont see a great deal of difference, only a slightly higher modulas graphite but alot of $$$ difference...) also i've looked at a few tcurves and the backbone has been way out, must be a mechanical problem at the factory... the tierra's with cork handles are good too but alot of places don't stock them (an online store has them for around 140 i think).

Also i'll repeat on the gary howard, great rod, good cork, also a winner in my book...

i would say a daiwa procaster z, but they dont seem to be making them anymore, i've had one for a few years and its been awesome, i paid $150ish for it im8 graphite, these days they fool ppl by saying hmg ( high modulus graphite) but no rating. but thats a whole other kettle of fish...

Don't forget the Starlo Stix Tournament light spin. It comes in at the lower end of your price bracket but punches well above its weight

There's a tackle store in sydney that is selling them for 100bux, have 3 left in stock at that price.
