    Flathead sesh outside Tinny Ck

Had a good session on Flathead out of the mouth of Tingalpa Ck the other day, just on low tide, picked up 6 flathead in just over an hour, three around the legal 40cm mark tossed back, kept these three, 45cm & 2 x 50cm, good eating size. Used plastics from the kayak.
    Cheers.

Great flattie spot out there. Before I bought my boat at easter, you could almost be guaranteed to find my son and I out there in the canoe. We usually paddle out on a run out tide, and once the sand bar/s were exposed, beach the canoe and walk the sand tossing SPs around... Caught many more fish doing that than we ever have in the boat (just having too much fun in the boat to go back there).

    Anyway, good work!

That's a nice little session, well done. The plastics work a lot better than bait don't they .

    Thanks Tom

    Nice flatties, good feed.

Reckon the yak would be good up the small creeks, and freshwater rivers

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm off to 1770 next week plus a few extra weeks roaming around that area but no exact spot as yet apart from the week booked at 1770. Taking the kayak and gear so looking forward to a few new species to try out on plastics.
    Cheers!
