Wanting to go Snapper Fishing

Well. I definitely won't be going back to the sand pumping jetty for tailor, beach here I come. Will also be changing line class and use lures and see what developes. Very early sessions also will be had but don't like the upcoming weather, heavy seas and rain again forecasted this coming weekend.

Stan Young at Wooli gets a good wrap from everyone I know thats been with him. Bit further than you mentioned though.
No promises but I could have some spare deck space on the fat arse this Monday out of Iluka if your interested?

over the summer months in spencer gulf SA youre guaranteed to get yourself a snapper. Arno Bay, Cowell & Whyalla are the hotspots. We get 7-10kg snapper on every trip with the chance of 12-13kg+ fish & bigger every possibility, soft plastics/bait/jigs & even sinkers can catch fish at times.
the end of the month long snapper ban on 30th november is the best time, if you can get on a charter for this day you won't regret it.
this is last years first cast nov 30th at 12pm when ban ended

I have heard that Outlaw charters from Brisbane at Manly are very good.
All reports are that you catch plenty of fish on the boat.
But, as for specializing in snapper........???
