Kawana boat ramp

The Kawana side ramp is open now. There won't be such a pile up on the coastgaurd side on good day.

Dunno what they acturely did there but it don't look any different.

chris, it was the end of the ramp that was the problem, large chunks of it had broken off over the years. at least if you go off the end you might get it back now. cheers Lee

Lee i've been in some low tides there and never had any trouble, nor have i seen anyone fall off the back of the ramp...interesting

I think what Lee is saying is that the ramp had large parts of concrete/bitumen breaking away at the end of the ramp.
We have been up there putting in at low tide ans have seen trailers go over the edge of the ramp and barely been able to get back up onto the ramp.
The drop off was quite steep at low tide.
Glad it has been fixed though.
