Google earth & my GPS marks

I want to put some of my GPS marks into google earth, but when I enter them they are way off. I am assuming the datum google earth uses and my GPS datum(WGS 84 or GDA 94) is different.

Can I get some tips on how to do it correctly.

I did this excercise and went outside with my hand held GPS and marked my drive way. Then had a look at my driveway on google earth, converted my way point from deg decimal deg to googles deg.min, and found the google curser to be almost spot on. If this is what is wrong in your case just use the online converters available. Mal.

Edited for the sake of accuracy. Did not intend to make it look like Satnavs response was incorrect. The subsequent posts make that clear I hope.
