    The brisbane river is a good spot, I am yet to land a nice snapper but have raised a few nice squire as well as tailor and the odd EC. I think the boat ramp they may be talking about is the pinkenbah ramp (may be wrong) but it is behind the refinery and the next to the cement place. not sure what the road is though.

    Its at Lytton along Port drive. Its just before you cross the small bridge but to turn into the ramp area you must be heading along the South side of te road. It is opposite the marine police (i think).
    Ill attach a photo of the ramp from google maps.
