    Removing mould from bimini

I don't use my bimini very often and it has been stored in the shed for ages. It has mould on the blue vinyl. What is the best way to remove it?

a product called alginox from the pool shop should get rid orf it it is not bleach base so shouldn't affect the vinyl but a small test patch near the edge might be advisable

Soak in nappy san then hit it with a H/P water blaster.

Of course then your bimini if canvas, won't be water proof any longer.

1/2 to 1 tablespoon of clove oil ("Oil of cloves") in a litre of water, spray on, let dry, dust off mould, and spray again let dry...(Second spray will stop it coming back anytime soon)...quite a strong smell but not unpleasant, will work a treat.
